These Corona Times...

Who would have thought? One minute it’s me grudgingly leaving my bed to get to work and the next, it’s me not knowing when next I will set foot in my workplace (my job in question being one that goes against everything social distancing). Who am I to even complain? On one side of the world, mass graves are being filled with people who used to be people’s loved ones, and on another, people are doing everything they can to not get kicked out of the world much sooner than “planned”.
Nobody wants no Ghanaian pall-bearers doing their choreography with them in the coffin...
The hell, you might not even get that one last fanfare if you flipping die of Covid19.

Well, Corona Virus has proved its point. We have learned our hard lessons. Can we now go back to when everything was like, normal?

What will the new normal even be like🀦🏽‍♀️? It’s probably my 31st day at home. I have been such a peach, catching myself every time I almost fall back into my old depression habits. I was 10 seconds from losing all that peachiness that I remembered “Oh, I have this blog that I used to write really consoling stuff on.” So I came here, hugged myself with a few of my uplifting posts (you should totally check some out) and said to myself, why not check on any fortunate human who sees this?
I’m not sure to what extent this has affected you but we’re going to be okay. Strength has brought you this far and I wish you the strength to keep keeping on.πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
